Yes, the dreadful first post ! I have had this blog for a while now, but today I finally decided it was time to compose a post -- no lame pun intended. In fact, today would be a good day to do so since there seems to be a lot on my mind. This is also a forewarning that this post might not make the most logical sense. And in the truest form of the word, may be the most random. Just as this script used to create a post is throwing my words around or expanding for no reason. Maybe I'll just type this in Notepad.

Ah, much better. Well I am almost twenty-one and am not looking forward to my birthday seeing as I just graduated film school and have very little money left. Therefore I may not be drinking on my birthday unless I find a decent job. Also, it is very hard to find anything around the location I am in that deals with my major because where film is most the time is NY or L.A. I would prefer to start in NY. My boyfriend, also current graduate, is there now and has been accepted to several internships that he is doing now. Our big plan is to save up enough so we can live in NY together. Which brings me around to my current job hunt. I so far have an interview tomorrow at 2pm at the local mall in an upscale department store. I am hoping to fall into cosmetics because that's something I know I can sell. Also, make-up interests me because it's artsy and creative and I am obviously an artsy and creative person. I'll be working full time and making a good salary with commission and their benefits are excellent. Of course if I am not cut out for cosmetics I am sure I can find something else within the department. A job is a job and can be fun if you make it that way.
